The theme of this year’s event is Reboot: Regaining Strategic Flexibility in the Age of Uncertainty. It was chosen to show senior executives how to manœuvre out of cul-de-sacs created by past strategic choices that over time have become barriers to adaptation to new realities.
Michael Raynor, author of The Strategy Paradox: Why Committing to Success Leads to Failure (And What to do About It) and Jean-Michel Paul, author of The Economics of Discontent: From Failing Elites to The Rise of Populism will be the headline speakers.
There are 4 panel discussions scheduled.
Panel 1: Changing business for a changing world
Panel 2: New imperatives for corporate strategy
Panel 3: Cracking the DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Code
Panel 4: Our people, our future.
The speakers and panelists at the 2021 edition of CEO Forum will address two main issues grouped around what:
i. Economic planners and policy-makers ought to do to address the disruptions to society and businesses as a consequence of increasingly frequent expressions of discontent by those caught in the widening bracket of economic exclusion
ii. CEOs can do to reduce the turning radius of their business strategy when the future they have bet on turns out differently from their forecasts.
