Mrs. Adepeju Adebajo is the immediate past Ogun State Commissioner for Agriculture. Prior to this appointment, she has acquired over 25 years’ experience spanning Industry, Consulting and Finance. Her previous roles include Managing Director, Project Management Office & Geocycle at Lafarge Africa Plc, CEO-Cement for Nigeria, MD Wapco Nigeria Plc and has managed Public Affairs and Communication Strategy; she was MD/CEO Mouka Limited; MD/CEO UTC Nigeria plc and headed strategic planning, brand management and product development at UBA plc.
In the UK she was a qualified case leader at Boston Consulting Group and a financial analyst at Citibank. She has served on various boards including Lafarge Africa Plc, Ashaka Cement PLC, UTC Nigeria Plc, Mouka Foam Limited, Lagos Business School, Ladgroup Limited and Mayflower School Ikenne.
She is currently the chair of the board at Traxi Continental, a large-scale agricultural equipment rental company. She is on the maiden advisory board for WIMPOL (Women in Politics) and a member of WIMBIZ (Women in Business). She is a recipient of the 2015 CNBC Africa Business Woman of the year award and the 2013 Harvard Business School Nigeria Leadership award.
Adepeju holds a Bachelor and Master of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) from the Imperial College of Science & Technology, London; and an MBA from Harvard University. She is an alumna of INSEAD.
